Winkhaus Multipoint Lock for timber or PVC doors.
These locks have a 'split-spindle' function, which when used with a lever/pad handle set, stops anyone from being able to gain entry from outside without a key. Alternatively this lock can be used as a standard lever-operated mechanism.
This lock also includes an "Entryguard" feature, which works along the same lines as a door chain. When fitted with an internal thumbturn knob, the door can be opened slightly whilst remaining secure.
